Terms of Hire

Hire Agreements can only be made by an adult over 18 years of age

1. All reservations must be confirmed with a non-refundable booking fee of $400 by Credit Card. The balance owing is required at least 30 days prior to the event. Once balance has been paid it then becomes non-refundable. If the hire is cancelled within 30 days, as per this contract, the balance remains payable to Commander Limousines.

2. Commander Limousines reserve the right to terminate any and all services due to unruly or abusive passengers without a refund. The hiring customer will be responsible for the conduct of ALL passengers in the vehicle at all times. We also reserve the right to substitute for another vehicle in the case of emergency/break-down/collision etc.

3. Commander Limousines operate a "NO SMOKING" policy within all vehicles. Should this be ignored the driver is authorized to terminate the hire agreement and a refund will not be offered.

4. Any damage/theft/breakages occurring during the hire will be charged to the hiring customer along with downtime costs, loss of income costs and any possible claim by another contracted customer of Commander Limousines that may miss their contracted booking as a direct result of the damage. Including but not limited to; fabric damage, spillage, soiling, glass breakage etc. A $200 cleaning fee will be applied to any unnecessary soiling.

5. Overtime rates of $150 per 15 mins will be applied for extended hire over and above the time agreed upon as per the hire agreement.

6. No food is to be consumed in the vehicle.

7. You hereby authorize Commander Limousines to deduct any fees payable under this contract from the credit card given at the last payment. Commander Limousines will inform you of the amount payable prior to making the deduction.

8. Due to the length, weight and height of the new stretch limo's access into some suburban streets/venues may be restricted and pickup and drop-off at front door may not be achievable. Drivers reserve the right to refuse passage to any venue that they deem unsafe to the vehicle or passengers.

9. You will be viewed by the driver and/or the drivers assistant via c.c.t.v. installed in the vehicle. The c.c.t.v. is NOT RECORDED and therefore cannot be used in an inappropriate manner.

10. Excessive amounts of alcohol will not be permitted into the vehicle, as a "general rule of thumb" we will allow 1 standard drink per person per hour. This will be at the drivers discression.

11. Any modifications to the hire agreement by way of reduction of hire time will not be offered a discount/refund within 30 days of the event.

12. Child seats will be permitted into the vehicle for the purpose of transporting small/disabled children. The customer is responsible for the seat and to check that the seat is correctly fastened. The seat must be fitted at the time of arrival and removed at the time of departure. If any damages occur due to the use of the seat section 4 of this contract remains applicable.

13. In the unlikely event that the vehicle that has been contracted to you is unavailable due to breakdown/collision/damage, the customer waives claim for any costs resulting from the breach of this contract by Commander Limousines only where Commander Limousines has made a reasonable effort to make good the situation.
